Premium AEROTEC to make its appearance at ILABerlin Air Show 2010
Premium AEROTEC’s core business comprises the development and manufacture of titanium, aluminium and carbon composite structures and production systems for civil and military aircraft. Operational since 1 January 2009, Premium AEROTEC has already become firmly established as a leader in its sector: it is the number one supplier of aerostructures in Europe and ranks fifth worldwide.
At its exhibition stand, Premium AEROTEC will present a mock-up of one of the structural components for the new Airbus A350 XWB long-haul aircraft to demonstrate its skills in carbon fibre-reinforced plastics (CFRP) technology. The full-scale model measuring 4.20 by 4.50 metres is a demonstrator for the pressure bulkhead, which is manufactured using VAP® (Vacuum Assisted Process) technology. Premium AEROTEC is the world’s largest supplier of fuselage structures for the new A350 XWB. The company will also present a demonstrator for a fuselage segment (barrel), likewise manufactured using VAP® technology. In addition, numerous other models displayed at Premium AEROTEC’s ILA stand will illustrate the company’s development and
production expertise.
